The World’s Smartest Genius

I would like to enlighten you about what it means to be real, real smart. I’ve been around some really smart geniuses in my time, especially when I was super genius physicist. That was years ago. Then I started drawing comix. But do you know who was the very first smartest genius in the world? Here’s a hint: He was Alexander the Great’s Science Teacher! And Alexander the Great was one of the ancient world’s biggest thugs. Give up? Well, it was Aristotle! Not only was he the world’s smartest genius when he was alive, he was also the world’s smartest genius for about a thousand years, until people like Copernicus and Galileo and Issac Newton figured out that he was wrong. At least he was a little off track when it came to physics. Now I never knew much about what he was all about, so recently I did a little research. Read about him in Wikipedia.

Here are some excerpts from a few of his several books. I got them from the app, LibriVox.

1. Posterior Analytics

2. Nicomachean Ethics  (Nicomachus was the name of his father and of his son)

3. Metaphysics

4. Physics

Know what I think? I think that guy who read that stuff ought to get a job in a robot movie. I also think I may not be as smart as I thought I was. I can’t figure out what he’s talking about. I know that I USED to be the world’s smartest genius. But those days are over. The world’s smartest genius these days happens to be Frau Grace. No matter what I say to her, I’m wrong.

Here’s a New Years Eve Sunday from 2006

I’m glad you became a cartoonist because you made a lot more people smile than if you had stayed an astrophysicist.
    Have a wonderful retirement!

I’m glad I did it too. I only studied physics because I was kind of smart. What I really loved was comic books. I didn’t start drawing until I was 35.
