Here Moosie, Moosie, Moosie! Part 11

My neighbor next door makes sure that I don’t starve. He gave me this radish.

It looks like a woodpecker. He also has three cats. You know how I love cats. I get the impression that this particular cat is somewhat slovenly.

Is that cat on your leg? Is its name Son of Bobo?

When I was a kid there was a huge, short-hair grey tabby who hung around our house. I wouldn’t call him feral because he was quite tame. He was all muscle and his head was about as big as a bowling ball, and it was covered with scars from defending his turf and his ladyfriends. My sister named him “Balls” because he was so heavily endowed. He had a harem of girlfriends that he would escort around the neighborhood demanding handouts, which our neighbors were happy to supply. He was one hell of a cat. That blob of a cat on the arm of the couch would have been lunch.

I still have Max, who owns a neighbor as well as the whole neighborhood. Max is a Manx, a breed known for bad disposition and aggro actions. He has broken into my house several times and attacked me when I came to the defense of my cat, whose only actions are to eat and purr. He’s now pushing twenty, and I can’t wait for his end.
