Heeee’s Back!

Yes, I’m back from my cruise to Mexico and Belize. We were also supposed to go to Costa de Mayo or something like that (Costa de Mustard maybe), but I don’t know what country that’s in. The seas got rough there and we couldn’t take the launch in. Actually, it was rough in Belize, but we made it ashore. My regret is that Marie Sharps’ Hot Sauce plant wasn’t in Belize City.

I wanted very much to show you photos of my vacation because I know how much people love to look at photos of other people’s vacations. I’m very sorry. When I tried to turn on my old IMac when I got back, nothing happened. All my computer tricks didn’t work. But don’t worry, tomorrow I’ll take it into the shop and get it fixed. Then I’ll have about 200 pictures and movies to show you. OH BOY!!!

Meanwhile… (By the way, I don’t know if I ever told you. I happen to be a Tommy. I have a photo of me on the pinball from when that guy from Sweden came to look me up in Virginia 20 years ago or so. I also have a photo of my dog, Jet, playing pinball on my Kiss machine from about that same time. I’ll see if I can find the pictures)

Pinball has been making a comeback in recent years.
There are several places in the Philadelphia/ Delaware area that have many of the machines from the 70’s and 80’s available to play on. They are restored and in excellent condition.
There are two places in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
In one place they charge you by the hour to play all the machines as much as you want.
The other place charges what the machines were originally set up for. Ten cents a game or three games for a quarter.

      Wow! P_inball reeached it’s epitome in the3 70’s.
after that they became all bells and whistles and chute3s and gimmicks. Back then it was a real game of skill. NOw there may be some skill involved but most of it is chance I think.
