On Board

This is the last of my cruise posts. (Yea!) This first clip is of two musicians from the Ukraine. Sometimes we don’t appreciate how fortunate we are here in the west. When these guys weren’t playing they were working elsewhere. My friend told me that he saw them hanging paintings in the art gallery.  All cruise ships have art galleries where the sell paintings.  I asked them if they could play Ramona. They said they never had heard it, but that it was in one of their books.

I let them know that I studied the violin for four long years when I was a kid.

There’s a lot of music and dancing going on on board. I talked to the old guy in this next clip. He was 92. I didn’t ask how old his wife was. I said “You never miss a dance” to which he replied “At my age I can’t afford to”. Notice the Ukrainians playing the dance music. The other two dancer in the clip were professionals.

Finally, I said that the seas were so high we couldn’t make our last port of call. This is the adult area swimming pool:

    I could watch the video of the pool for hours.
