A Couple Things from Readers

First, Look at what Lisa B. sent me from Canada.

Mado’s hot sauce. That’s because I mentioned Marie Sharp’s hot sauce made in Belize. Thanks so much, Lisa. Can’t wait to try it.

Next, Mark S. turned me on to something interesting in Comments. This is in reference to my mentioning Moby Dick  a few days back. It I had never heard the song Nantucket Sleighride. That’s what the whalers in the old days called the ride when the whale was trying to escape and pulling the harpoon boats.  Part of Melville’s book was based on the destruction of the Whaling ship Essex in 1820. It’s very interesting. Here’s the song Nantucket Sleighride, and here is the story of the Essex.

    You really must be tired.
You posted the same Spencer cartoon twice.
BTW, that hot sauce looks great.

“Spencer, If I have 1 pie, and you have 1 pie, how many pies do I have when I turn my back?”

    Happy Pi Day, everyone!
