I have photos from Vancouver ready. I’m kind of working backwards, trying to get my photos organized. You know how it is. It’s not like when we used film. You take thousands of pictures and 95% are crummy. And we are taking the auto train tomorrow from Orlando, so it’s going to take me awhile, especially since I’ll be working on my tiny Air Book. I say that because my main computer here at home is 27″. And I have two monitors.

Vancouver is beautiful, convenient and very clean, with attractive, friendly, young people. Not like Bradenton where everybody is as old as dirt. Here are a few city shots:

The last photo of what look like wet oily sand, what is that?
I do look on the photos!

The difference between film and digital cameras is that (as you said) we used to take hundreds of pictures and 95% were crummy.
Now we take tens of thousands of pictures, most still crummy, and we only look at them once in the viewfinder.
    Nobody prints out pictures anymore.

The oily sand is a kind of water park where the kids can get their feet wet. There’s another one by the water front that has water jets.

You’re right about tens of thousands of photos. The few good ones get buried.
