33 Packard

For all you lovers of old cars, Frederick E. sent me this link. You know, I think that cars reached their zenith of design in the late 1950’s. Right? When I was in school, every year some guys from Detroit would come and ask us boys what we think cars should look like. They’d suggest that we could draw pictures. How smart was that? And you may remember on TV, a couple months before the new models were introduced, they would have one covered with a sheet that they’d tease us with. I still remember around 1956, the tail fins poking up the sheet. How exciting, especially for a 12 year old boy. We’ve lost all that, haven’t we? Here’s Fred’s link.
