2001, Göteborg Book Fair. Sture Hergefors became a friend. He’s the guy who started the Book Fair. I was at the Book Fair several years. What a wonderful experience it was.

Surely it wasn’t in 1971, though. The Göteborg/Gothenburg Book Fair has been held annually since 1985, and Ernie was launched in 1988. It’s a great event to visit, though. It is the second largest literary festival in Europe.
Oops. Typo. That was the 2001 Book Fair. I’ll talk about that in today’s post.
