They’re from up in Northern Virginia. They always bring me a lovely present when they visit…
Yes, folks, that’s a half gallo0n of Irish whiskey.
You must have opened it, that’s the same strip from Feb 13. 😉
I hope it is half a gallon and not galloon – which is a narrow trimming (as of lace or braid with metallic threads) having both edges scalloped
Geeze! I didn’t realize I had such an extensive vocabulary. Never heard of a galloon. do you knit!. I seem to recall that that Rosie Greer used to knit. Probably still does.
We toured the Jameson distillery in Ireland, very nice! We love Ireland, toured Guinness brewery, my favorite beer in the world!
When we went to Ireland twenty years ago, my Swedish friend met us there. He insisted we meet in Tullamore. Tullamore Dew is his favorite whiskey. I got there and found out that they mover the distillery to Cork. The friends who visited us and gave me the Jamison, they were two of the people we toured the wine country of Virginia last year.
