Does this happen to you?

Before my cataract surgery I had two pairs of glasses – well three if you count sunglasses. One pair was progressives for everyday use. The others were up close glasses for drawing. I had about 20/500 with bad astigmatism. Now, since cataract surgery four years ago I have about twenty pairs. Usually 150 diopters¬† for casual up close, 250 for computer and 300 for drawing. But sometimes I can’t find any of them. I have to search the house. And after a while they all seem to congregate in one spot, like those nature movies of elephant seals piled on top of each other on some beach in Patagonia.

Incidentally, we’ve decided to hunker down for a few weeks. This situation we find ourselves in, well, Ive never seen anything like it. One would think that the mass anxiety that seems to be permeating society these days must be what it was like during the Great Depression or World Wars.

I feel your pain.. I have a dozen or so spread around the house. One next to the computer, one in the bathroom, one in the car……. and so on.
