Nothing new. I don’t know about you, but one day is just like the next. Except for Ernie in La Motel Cucaracha.

Back when I used to volunteer at the nursing home in Manassas, Virginia, there was an old lady there who claimed she had a date with Elvis. I didn’t know whether or not I believed her.

You are so right, Bud. One day is just like the next. I can’t wait for this to be over. One of the few bright spots is your blog. These days, “hero” is an over-used word that is rapidly ceasing to mean anything. However, I wouldn’t hesitate to call you a “hero” because you are bringing smiles and much-needed diversion to many of us. Thank you.

When retired, everyday is a Saturday.

Went to Costco a while back, got home and said to my wife, I’ve never seen it so busy. She said, do you know what day it is? I said, Thursday? She said, well it’s Saturday.

Frau Grace just ordered some stuff from Costco. She couldn’t get the duck, but she got the Blue Hill Bay smokes salmon and my artichoke hearts. I wanted to drive out there but she put the kabosh on that endeavor.
