Buddy, I appreciate the gardening tip. Yeah, I get that you live in Florida where you can grow anything any time. But it’s not as bad as you make it in the Frozen Mountains of Colorado. All you have to do is install a 1.5 million BTU boiler system and USE it.
Outdoors it might be below 45* every morning no matter the season. Even the occasional freeze in June. But inside it’s nice and warm and your plants are happy. In August you might even risk putting them out on the porch. Just don’t throw your back out.
We also save on clothing, as underwear is all you need, what with Covid. Sunscreen — What the heck is that? No hat or sunglasses needed either.
So thanks for the idea. I’m off to the grocery to get some bananas for the grand experiment. Do you think they will be happy sharing some floor space with a hibiscus, or are they likely to fight like spoiled children when I’m not looking?
Denver is a cool city. I was there in 1961 as an exchange student. Actually the school was in Wheatridge. I’ll check my bananas soon.
