T.G.I.F.

Time for a couple liters of cheap red. I need it. I’ve been fighting Microsoft Word for the past month. Geeze! Whoever wrote that program ought to be horse whipped. I have two versions including the latest. You’d think that after all these years they’d make it user friendly. But NOOOOOOOO!

The last of the Luxury Polish Vodka dirty martinis with two garlic stuffed olives. The good life!

You might recall that Zerblat did take Ernie to Grelzak several years later for the Feast of the Blerfnik.

I hear ya about MS Word. WAAAAY too many options. I’ve been fighting it as well for many years and I worked in IT for over 20 yrs..

Right. My main problem now is when I replace pictures and then create a PDF the new pictures don’t show. I went back to my 2011 version to correct the errors. My new Word is 2016. It’s a terrible program. Bear in mind that the people who wrote it were really smart and educated on software engineering, and it took them years to write it. Even if you’re really smart butwithout the software background it’s a real pain in the neck to make it work. I hate it.

Second on those opinions. I’m still puzzling on its erratic behavior, which they call a feature. And I have not upgraded since 2003.

You do realize it was written by an army of soldier ants chained together by their nose rings, right?

There are times when I just give up and paste my failure as plain text into my ancient copy of Wordperfect. It continues to do things exactly as expected. Great word processor, though lacking most bells and whistles.

I’m glad to know that I’m not the only one who has wasted days and days trying to get the damn thing to work.
