I fixed the problem with the price of the #2 Sunday collection. Now it’s $16. It hasn’t passed review yet, but if there is a problem, which there often is, I know how to fix it.
Also Russ Brooks is having trouble loading one of the Kindle books on his
Chromebook. I think it’s because the file is very big. Does anyone else have a problem loading a Kindle? Email me.
I just now read an email from Robert F. He ordered the expensive version of #2. He said the quality is much higher. Tomorrow I will see if I can make both versions available. Also he said that the price was discounted down from $28 to $23.
Here’s a week of stand-alones…
Don’t buy the paperback version of Sunday Brunch #2. For some reason they are charging me a printing cost of $15 when it should be $8.35. I’m going to shut down that book and start it over again tomorrow. I spent all day today reducing file sizes, but that didn’t help.
I was asked about an app for Chrome Book in comments. Here is some info.
Also I was asked about the paperbacks in other countries. I’ll look into expanded distribution tomorrow and let you know what I can find out. From what I’ve seen so far, it raises printing costs considerably. But I’ll look into it.
About 50 years ago my little Indian friend, Karnick, and I went to French Town in Tallahassee to Minor’s Bar-B-Que and Fish Market and bought a couple plates of take-out tripe. Have you ever tried to eat it? Oh my God! It’s very chewy and it smells and tastes like rancid pee-soaked Depends. I took one bit and spit it out. Karnick ate both his and mine. Well last week Loinfruit bought a turkey for Thanksgiving. Along with the turkey they gave him, absolutely free, a hamburger patty AND (you guessed it) a pound of tripe. So yesterday Frau G gets into her grandmother’s Italian cookbook and finds a recipe for tripe. First off you have to boil it for two hours. The whole damn house smelled like Grandma Horsewipe’s dirty underpants. Geeze! The worst part is they don’t collect the garbage till tomorrow.
And speaking of butcher shop free samples, here’s Mr. Shultz …
I believe that the paperback and Kindle versions of all the collections are now available, or very soon will be. But if you had intended to buy the two Sunday collections in paperback, hold off. I am going to try to reduce the printing cost of book 2 significantly. The cost of the Brunch #2 book is much higher than the Brunch book, and I think I know why. File sizes in book 2 are higher than in book 1. I think it’s because of all the color gradients in book 2. I should have it done in a few days.
BTW, today FSU (9-0) is playing the North Alabama Lions (7-3)
Sorry I was late yesterday.
I’ll let you know when the Kindle versions are available. Should be by the end of this week.
Guess where I went to college. I believe that this was the year Charlie Ward won the Heisman and FSU won the championship.
