Did I ever tell you this? My sister was the recording engineer at Sea-Saint Studios in New Orleans starting in the 60’s. Fats was a terrific human being. And he was known for his cakes that he baked. On my sister’s birthday one year he showed up with a big beautiful birthday cake that he had baked for her.
