Frank Perdue was the Chicken King, at least on the East Coast. He even looked like a chicken. Google him and look at one of his tv commercials. I probably should have used Colonel Sanders, but my editor said to go ahead with Frank, because Frank seemed a little weird.
Loved Frank’s commercials, and he seemed like a guy who was serious about his pullets!
Not to sound mean, but his sons, who now do the commercials, look like chickens, too.
