If you’re into old cartoons you may be interested in this. Frau G was going through some of her old stuff and she came across this old card game from the late 30’s, Bonanza…

What’s interesting is that the box cover was drawn by Peter Arno.

Peter was a New Yorker cartoonist back then. He happened to be very wealthy.  “To be known as an artist was always more important to me than to be a millionaire.” I don’t know if I would agree to that. I have a big book of his cartoons.

Now you know where that saying comes from. If you can’t read it, it’s “Well, back to the old drawing board.”
