Way back when I bought a lot of IKEA stuff. My big computer desk, bookshelves, and boxes on wheels you slide under beds, all IKEA. I used to have an IKEA bed. We left it when we sold our house in Maryland. Did you know that the founder of IKEA was a Nazi?

I just heard that Sam Gross has passed away. He was a funny, funny cartoonist, the best. And I’m proud to say that he was a friend of mine. When I first started drawing cartoons I said to myself “Maybe some day I’ll be able to meet Sam Gross.” Well I did, and I was thrilled and honored. Maybe he’ll meet his legless frog in the hereafter and the frog will bite his ass. That cartoon inspired this one that I drew many years ago. It appeared in a National Lampoon collection Cartoons Even We Wouldn’t Dare Print II in 1985.
