Check this out. It was a pop up on my pad. Notice anything strange?

I mean besides that the guy has only four toes. The three small toes look like the palm side of fingers. So I had to click on the link. Notice anything in this picture?

Right. The guy has 6 toes. And the big toe is sideways. And the little toes are all longer than the big toe. You know what I think it is? It’s an advertising gimmick. Hey, it caught my attention and made me click on the link. Very clever of them.

I hope that by now you are all sober.

BTW, here is the first version that I came up with. I figured that it was a little too graphic for my more refined readers:

I had a mustache back then.

This story was published early January 1993. I was trying to drum up some corporate sponsorships. Didn’t work. If there are two strips on a particular day it’s because the first is my original gag and the second was a replacement.
