ARRRRGH!

Frau G is getting rid of the rest of my valuable toasters!

OK, they may be old, but they still get hot!

I even have the original cords. Look,  one is still in it’s factory-fresh packaging! Good as new!

God knows, I’ll never understand women.

No! No! No! Don’t get rid of old toasters. Not a single good toaster is made in the U.S. now. These are worth their weight in gold. Someone on Amazon said, when I asked for an American toaster: God created the heaven and the earth. Since then, everything’s made in China.

When gasoline and other fossil fuels are no longer available, these all-electric toasters will be essential in every kitchen. The Graces will become rich then. I’m selling all my gasoline and kerosene toasters in preparation for that glorious green day when we will be free of the dreaded fossil fuel powered devices!

At one time I owner 38 toasters. She got rid of them and it was like when I was ten years old and I came home to find that my old man threw out all my comic books.

I read every page of the recent comprehensive biography of Churchill, it answered everything except— how could such a genius NOT be consumed by a passion for collecting toasters? It boggles the mind.

We had an elaborate GE toaster in the early-mid 60s, it more resembled a radio than a toaster. We dumped it when we moved to the UK for a couple years, along with a few other memorable items.
