What’s interesting is that the box cover was drawn by Peter Arno.

Peter was a New Yorker cartoonist back then. He happened to be very wealthy.  “To be known as an artist was always more important to me than to be a millionaire.” I don’t know if I would agree to that. I have a big book of his cartoons.

Now you know where that saying comes from. If you can’t read it, it’s “Well, back to the old drawing board.”

 Once on April Fools Day I put salt in the sugar bowl. I was eleven or twelve. My old man shoved my face down into the sugar bowl. “Let’s see how you like it!” He wasn’t good at taking a joke.
