Wow! I am so pleased that you are concerned as I am about the width of toilet paper. Thank you for all your comments. I truly believe that if one of our major parties would adopt the toilet paper issue, it could well tip the balance of the upcoming election. If I weren’t so lazy I’d run for political office.
Toilet paper is one of the few things that most people can relate to. My solution is to have a package of baby wipes nearby. Just don’t try and use the Clorox type. They clean and kill the bugs but can cause a rash.

For years I’ve been hearing about Ernie’s popularity in Scandinavia. I’m finally in Norway, and after a few days in Oslo, with no Ernie sightings in the big books stores (which didn’t even have a humor section, (what does that say about Norway?)) we moved on to Bergen. Lo and behold, right around the corner from the hotel, a familiar name caught my eye in the window of a used book store, in a place of prominence. I’ve got a picture to send, so you can see who Ernie is associating with.
Also, hotel t.p. in Norway has rectangular sheets, approx 3.5″ x 5″. I’ll get you a picture of that, too.
