Heeee’s Back!

Power came on yesterday at 5:15 PM. BTW, power went off Tuesday at 7:15 AM, a day before the storm hit. I know people who won’t have power until next Thursday. What about those poor people just a little south of me? I feel so bad for them. It would have been the same here if it hadn’t drifted south. Evidently the eye passed about 40 miles to the southeast. It was the worst I’ve ever been through.

OK, I’m going to catch up.

Welcome news that you and Frau Grace have survived the hurricane and hope you weren’t too badly impacted. The damage is huge and it will take ages to restore.

I’m so happy Ya’ll are okay and so sorry for everyone that this storm has affected. Hope you were able to keep your food cold being without electricity for so long. When we lived in the Philippines, (my dad was stationed there 3 times) we experienced typhoons and it is a very frightening experience. When you are on an island there is no place to go and wait it out. We also experienced earthquakes, those were very strange and frightening also. Glad you are both okay!
