Speaking of my acting career, this page is from my ’61 Yearbook. By the way, I went to Manatee High School in Bradenton, Florida.
In the top left photo there’s my friend Larry Jerome, and that’s U-No-Hoo on the right. Larry played some old major. The play was The Monkey’s Paw. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s a horror story by the English writer, W. W. Jacobs. There were three plays, one by each high school class. And guess who got the Best Actor Award! I remember standing there waiting. I thought I was going to get some money or something. All I got was a hearty handshake. Remember the W.C. Fields movie, The Bank Dick?
Umm, Bud….
Any chance you could make additional Sunday books instead of more videos? Or maybe books based on your strips from the second Tuesday of every week?
I mean, not that Dolores isn’t great, but her talent is wasted on the small screen. You should hold out for a major contract. You know, share top billing with Meryl Streep or Robert DeNiro. Maybe break new ground with Marlon Brando as Bob the Zombie.
Just a suggestion. Looking forward to wherever your creative juices take you!
My wife wants more cooking shows. She loved the one where you picked the food off the floor and put it back into the pot. Supper a la Floor.
I enjoy your videos. I’m glad you are going to start doing them again! I enjoy all your creative and entertaining endeavors. Keep doing it all, I will continue to watch and laugh!! Thanks Bud. Oh, and I received your new Sunday addition book yesterday, love it!
