Sunday

Don’t buy the paperback version of Sunday Brunch #2. For some reason they are charging me a printing cost of $15 when it should be $8.35.  I’m going to shut down that book and start it over again tomorrow. I spent all day today reducing file sizes, but that didn’t help.

I was asked about an app for Chrome Book in comments. Here is some info.

Also I was asked about the paperbacks in other countries. I’ll look into expanded distribution tomorrow and let you know what I can find out. From what I’ve seen so far, it raises printing costs considerably. But I’ll look into it.

About 50 years ago my little Indian friend, Karnick, and I went to French Town in Tallahassee to Minor’s Bar-B-Que and Fish Market and bought a couple plates of take-out tripe. Have you ever tried to eat it? Oh my God! It’s very chewy and it smells and tastes like rancid pee-soaked Depends. I took one bit and spit it out. Karnick ate both his and mine. Well last week Loinfruit bought a turkey for Thanksgiving. Along with the turkey they gave him, absolutely free, a hamburger patty AND (you guessed it) a pound of tripe. So yesterday Frau G gets into her grandmother’s Italian cookbook and finds a recipe for tripe. First off you have to boil it for two hours. The whole damn house smelled like Grandma Horsewipe’s dirty underpants. Geeze! The worst part is they don’t collect the garbage till tomorrow.

And speaking of butcher shop free samples, here’s Mr. Shultz …

I think you have to soak tripe in Clorox for a couple of weeks

I sent you the comment about not being able to read your book via Kindle app on chromebook. I followed your suggested link for kindle information; that is the same way I already installed the Kindle app on my chromebook. I have read several kindle books using the kindle app on my chromebook including some comic books.

However, that kindle app won’t open your book. Since it works on other kindle books I suspect the problem has something to do with your book.

I also tried it with the Kindle app on my wife’s Amazon Fire tablet which is also a kindle of sorts. Your book loaded (very slowly) but does open and is readable.

So why does the kindle app on a chromebook choke and a kindle app on iphones and tablets work? You’ll be losing some sales unless you can fix this issue.

As for the slow loading on your wife’s tablet, that’s probably because the book is close to 300 MB. I’m thinking that the problem with your Chromebook is the same. Try giving it more time to load. If that doesn’t work I can send you the pdf of the book. I’m sure your Chromebook can read pdf’s. Want to try that?
