I think I figured out what happened two days ago. I should be ok now. I discovered that if you click on a date in the calendar, sometimes you also have to click on the title that pops up to see the entire post. I don’t know why. Geeze. I got better ways to spend my time. I was happy with my old Dietzgen Microglide. Who needs computers? And since I posted the entire second week of the Elvis story yesterday, here’s an old single panel cartoon from about 40 years ago.
That gag is utterly disgusting.
I liked it, gave me a smile 🙂
I love it!!
Ahhh YES!! (with my apologies to Jerry Calonna)
It must be my new ‘COW’ mechanic..
Does he work on other models? How much an hour?
My car has leaks just like that.. :{)
Dietzgen Microglide for you, huh?
I cruised with the Post Versalog. Still have it, and it is still as smooth as when I used it every day. Last time I used it was to demonstrate to my son how you could multiply two numbers together by adding their logarithms. He said his calculator was easier (sigh…).
I knew people who had the Versalog. Frau G has her father’s old K&E slide rule. He went to college in ’37. He probably had it in high school. He was pretty smart. He ended up as the director of the Navy simulation lab or whatever they called it. They did things like designing flight simulators.
